here’s a CPA company that blindly emailed me in regards to establishing a partnership deal..
I love the fact that, instead of schmoozing me to reply and go over possible deals, they immediately put me to work filling out this long checklist of site statistics, as if I have something to prove to them.
I guess beggars can be choosers.
Peter,
I am part of the Interactive team here at Datamark and your below emailed has been forwarded to me for review for Corinthian. I am one of the New Vendor Planners and am interested in gathering more information from you about your site/network so that we can understand whether your company will provide a good opportunity for us to work with. Datamark does represent many schools of all different sizes and specialties across the board, both online and campus based. We would like to determine if you would be a good fit for Corinthian or any one of the other schools that we represent.
If you will please answer these questions about what your capabilities are, we will be then be able to move forward to a possible phone conference and testing. But I do need these stock questions answered so I can enter your information into our database.
Please answer the following questions:
1. What is the name of your site and parent company?
2. What are some of the sites our schools would be advertised on? (I do need specific examples.)
3. How long has your site/s been live?
4. How many unique visitors visit your site/s per month?
5. How do you generate traffic to your site/s?
6. What demographic is your audience?
7. How many schools currently advertise on your site/s?
8. What kind of lead volume can you generate per month?
9. Do you have the capability of geo targeting in the US ?
10. Do you have the capability of geo targeting in Canada ?
11. Do you have the ability to target lead volume by market in the US and Canada ?
12. Do you do Graduate, Masters or PHD programs?
13. Can you link your creative out to a schools creative?
14. What is your average CPL?
15. Do you have the capability to form post?
16. If your site is subscription based what is the time commitment?
17. What is your typical timeframe for creative production?
I appreciate you taking your time to provide us with this information and we will be in touch shortly to discuss further details.
Thank you,
Rachel Marenburg / Interactive Media Planner

Oh my god… Rachel… thanks for joining the team at Datamark. Your enthusiasm is very much appreciated, and I can tell you are very “sharp” with the questions you ask. 17 incredibly intrusive questions! very sharp indeed!
