OK, you gotta love their naivete. Hooray for them for shedding more light on the possible uses for domains! So many domain holders forget about the power of e-mail. Think of all the kids who might pay $1.99 to have a Joey@Narnia.com or .mobi e-mail address! Same with millions of other amazing domains!

Unfortunately, Narnia is not a generic word or phrase. It is a legitimate trademark and this sweet Scottish family is infringinging. However, if all they want is for their son to have a Narnia e-mail account, I am sure CS Lewis can work out an arrangement for the kid ( and maybe 1 million more!). A few opening night tickets might sweeten the deal as well. I wonder if they had tried the soft approach first if it might have worked. Kids don't like to be on the dark side of something they are trying to emulate.
