personally, I like a messy desk. And I enjoy slowly messing it up. Looking at my desk right now, I can see expired coupons, a dinner receipt from portofino bistro, a menu to Tamarind, some Lord Willys stickers I got for free when I bought a shirt on my last NYC trip, folded paper with potential domains to buy, a drink from Firehouse subs, a tape measure, a mad magazine, a sonos player, san pelligrino, a calculator, some speakers playing the band ‘Beirut’ on Rhapsody, along with some other odds and ends.
There’s something about a messy desk that conveys a sense of urgency to me. And with that sense, I feel I work a bit better.
Then I thought it’d be neat to take a camerphone pic of what my desk looks like right now and share with everybody…
anybody else wanna share what your domaining/seo/sem/blogging desk looks like right now?

Let’s see, we have an empty glass of OJ, english muffin remnants, red Swingline (ala Office Space), lots of papers, box from new hard drive and related tools, stack of CD’s to rip, iFi and iPod, Treo, wallet, dual monitors (a must have), huge stack of receipts under the monitors and Linux Administration Handbook. One would almost think it is time to clean this mess up.
The sad thing is, I did clean it up 2 days ago.
